New "Industry Perspectives" Articles

Dear List Members,

Every week, streamingmedia.com will publish
articles written by industry CEOs and Executives
for a new section on our website and in our
newsletter entitled "Industry Perspectives." Each
column will provide expert analysis and insight
into specific trends, challenges, and
opportunities facing the streaming industry, all
from some of the most respected names in the
field.

We are currently accepting articles and wanted to
provide you with the submission requirements
should you be interested in sending us an article
for potential publication.

Editorial Guidelines
When composing your articles, please note these guidelines:

- Streaming Media Inc. reserves the right to
publish or not publish the material you submit.
Submitting an article does not guarantee
publication.
- All submissions are subject to approval by the
editorial staff of Streaming Media Inc., and may
be edited or altered for length and clarity.
- If an article is too product- or
corporation-focused, we won't run it. This is not
an opportunity to promote your company or do a
sales pitch for your services.
- Examples of such non-vendor focused topics that
we are looking for include "How Broadband
Adoption Will Affect Our Industry," "The Role
Standards Play In Technology Platforms," "The
Business Of Digital Music On The Web," etc

Delivery Requirements
Please adhere to the following requirements when delivering your submission:

- Articles should be approximately 1,000 words in length.
- All articles should be a Word-formatted
document and e-mailed as an attachment to
()
- A Web-ready headshot of the author in .GIF or
JPG format, sized at 200x100 pixels should be
included as a separate attachment.
- You may submit up to two additional images to
illustrate your article. Again, our editorial
staff reserves the right to reject images that
are too product focused.
