Hi there,

I'm trying to figure out the software I will need, with a joomla lms.

Here's the general picture:

1) Classes with Audio/Slides/Quizes
2) Classes with Video/Audio/Slides/Quizes

Individual classes will be paid for online. There will be a quiz after eac=
h
hour of instruction. They won't be able to go to the next hour without
passing the quiz. At the end of the course ( say 7 hours ) they will be
automatically emailed an e-certificate.

Can this joomla lms do all of the above? And what authoring software do I
need? I'm boot-strapping it too, so there's not big bucks behind my venture
fyi.

Sorry, Im very new to all this and trying to understand it all.

I believe all your specifications would be available with Joomla LMS. With these LMS, one would avail the features such as, multi-language user-friendly interface, compliance with SCORM standards, advanced user administration, completion certificates, access via regular Internet browsers, advanced reporting and tracking etc.

any reason why you've chosen Joomla over, say Moodle or Sakai?
