Excellent conference eh?

Hey all

Well I guess its a good sign the list has been quiet since we have all been swapping cards in new york I guess..

Frankly its been a while since I got to a US side sm conference (since 2001) and it was great to see it thriving..

So what did folks make of it then?

I liked Dans CDN pricing presentation a lot - nice to hear the facts laid out without the 'forrester' type of guesswork diluting it.. Although I think his comment that monetization was not what this industry should be focussed on raised a few eyebrows - certainly in the infrastructure providers! But then I guess he takes a wider view than just infrastructure providers which is a good thing really..

...and Jans codec comparison was as ever clean and objective (although do get that comparison of live codecs out at somepoint eh? :-)

...so what were other folks experiences?

(im just grabbing my flight over the pond - but looking forward to the post-mortem after my jet lag lifts...)

If we met then it was great to do so and if not then hope to soon - good to see the industry on form...
