help with streaming on Justin.tv
So I recently bought an happauge hd pvr to record my console gaming and thought id give streaming a try. I've however run into a few problems. First ill tell you how I have my console set up to the PVR in case it matters.

XBOX>HDMI
HDMI>HDMI SPLITTER 1x2
HDMI SPLITTER output 1> 22" monitor
HDMI SPLITTER output 2> HDMI to Component converter
Converter> component cables to the PVR
PVR> usb to laptop....

only reason i mention the above is maybe somethings getting messed up when converting from hdmi to component idk just thought id throw it in there

And how I was trying to stream I was told by a guy who has a stream on Justin.tv and looks flawless at least 720p no skipping ever. Anyways this is what im streaming with

I'm using the Arcsoft total media extreme which is the program that comes with the Happauge HD PVR and I use XSPLIT which is a program used to capture whats on your laptop screen and sync it with your justin.tv stream

Now i dont know if any of this info ive given will be helpful just want a helpful answer so i thought id tell you everything!!

THE PROBLEM???

There are 2 black bars on both the left and right on the arsoft program screen where it shows the game. Any idea how to adjust it so the game takes up the full display area so i dont have these black bars anymore?

And problem 2 which is more generic I think my stream is very choppy and i keep reading that you need to mess with the settings but i cannot for the life of me find where to adjust the settings?? Is it going to be on the Arcsoft program or the XSPLIT? and also is part of the reason its skipping that my computer cant handle streaming? It's a compaq I got for 300 dollars about 6 months ago... I dont think its my internet my upload speed is 5mbps which i hear is decent? idk

ANYWAY... any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
