Bar live events streaming.
Hello, my name is Ferran and I'm new to this forum. Hi everybody!!!
I'm trying to set up a live events streaming from a rock bar. I've been looking for any ip camera that could do that job in a decent way, but everything I find is cctv related and not very good quality. My idea is streaming the live events while recording so I can afterwards upload them in a better quality (better than streaming) at the bar's youtube channel (there will be a record for every event). I was wondering if there is any camera available that would do that. Kind of a mid-quality video thing, capable of compressing for the stream and also capable of recording a better quality version on a sd card or something.... I think it could be difficult to find such a camera, so I thought about using a computer and adobe media encoder with a firewire camera, is that estable enought???? I used that same thing years ago, but at that time was kind of unstable thing, it would stop becouse of computer cpu load.. I guess any computer is powerful enought... I live in Ibiza, Spain, and we still use cooper for the dsl lines so we get about 60kB/s upload and 900KB/download... What maximum bitrate would you set for that? (we will send the data to a video streaming service that can later feed the audience). How would you guys proceed???? Can anybody advise me any good camera for streaming???? I don't need pan/tilt, just a fixed wide angle camera... Thanks a lot. |
