In general there are 2 types of video conference service: hosted and on-premise. Hosted service usually comes with monthly subscription fee. On-premise only has one time payment and you own it. So, on premise is more cost effective.

Some vendors has bundled several service into one app, which further reduce the cost. For example, RHUB 6-in-1 appliance offers web/video/audio conferencing as well as remote support and access in one box.
