Configuration Question
I'm looking for a solution for a broadcast agency:
- they need an idiot proof, fast to delivery front end/encoder that takes the site coding out of editor's hands and puts into an API or form - they deliver 3 to 5 versions of each clip, same day as shot - HD, SD, WMV, M4V, JPEG Poster Frame - they need a custom branded, password protected page for their clients to end up on to review an FLV preview and to choose which option to download - right now this is all done by hand - editors export and encode different versions on the desktop, and then create custom SWF/HTML pages that link to it - i inherited their server set up as the new admin to a IIS server, so the only thing that box is good for is hosting HTML and nothing more complex - I like to look at this as a combo encoder/front end/auto page-file generator Please let me know what number to call thanks, melissa |

RE: Configuration Question
Hi Melissa, there are a few options out there, of course the right solution would largely hinge on your budget, time to deliver the solution and class of service expected by the client.
Have you looked at Anystream or FlipFactory for your turn key solution, Wowza media server can also fit into this solution - there will be customizations required for the clients specific environment, but again... budget vs. class of service will need to balance out to the level of effort you can dedicate to this solution. you can contact me at nicoontheweb@aol.com Best, Nico (12-03-2009 05:38 PM)multo Wrote: I'm looking for a solution for a broadcast agency: |
