SLTA (Simulated Live Transfer agent)
We are looking for help with finding free or buying software for STLA. We are using Wowza Server for VOD and Live. We need software for Simulated Live Transfer Agent (SLTA) to stream our prerecorded clips or a broadcast archive as if it were a live event. Using SLTA, we want to deliver simulate radio or TV programming using any number of pre-recored clips. We need help with set up of SLTA, creating playlists, and running our simulated live broadcast over Wowza Media Server.

Please make your recommendation on the direction we should take. Thx

Take a look at Pseudo-Live Player and Scheduler from Synapse Multimedia at http://synapse.ws/so-wowza-flash.cfm. If you need additional advice, email me off forums to alex@wowzamedia.com.

RE: SLTA (Simulated Live Transfer agent)
Hello:

This article is about how to start streaming your live and pre recorded content using flash: http://www.thehdstandard.com/hd-streamin...oadcaster/
Wowza Media Server has the advantage of scalability for Video On Demand and also provides a capability to intelligently manage traffic loads across multiserver clusters and robust demand-based load balancing to ensure that on-demand (and live stream) loads will be distributed evenly accross multiple servers without overwhelming your infrastructure.
