PC Encoder Solution

Hi there,
Wonder if anybody can point me in the right direction - and apologies if my lack of reseach shows - but thought it best to get a pointer here first.

We're looking at PC based hardware/software live webcast encoder solutions.

Basically we have two requirements:
- encoder failover
- software realtime video mixer

We are looking at using Black Magic capture cards in both the encoding PCs

So just need a couple of pointers:
1) are the any PC encoder solutions that provide automatic failover - meaning should one PC encoder fail - the other comes out of standby and is now the active encoder?

2) As well as providing automatic failover, are there any products out there (PC based) that provide good quaility/UI realtime video mixing.

Whilst posting, would you recommend we use Black Magic cards - or do you have other preferences.
