RE: Multiple Channels using On a Single PC
Hello:
I am using an Intensity Pro capture card (from BlackMagicDesign) but still need different computers for doing video streaming on more than one channel live. I use a broadcaster which automatically recognize the video card so all I do is set the card as video source and then options like bitrate, fps, audio settings. It is free to use it, see more information at tikilive.org and select live site to run some tests and see how it works. Let me know if you need assistance in setting the video broadcast up. Thank you and best regards |

RE: Multiple Channels using On a Single PC
Hello:
Well, there is a hardware limitation when we are talking about capture cards. The card it's not built to support 2 feeds at the same time, it will crash, even if you stream at very low resolutions. They are designed to stream a single channel. For instance I stream 2 channels but have 2 capture cards installed on the same computer. But one mention here is that you will need a very good computer configuration to do this. The best solution will still be to have different computers for each channel to get the best video quality. You can have a look at http://www.thehdstandard.com/tutorials/h...treaming/. You'll see how to hook the board to the PC and connection types. Just let me know if you need information about settings to stream your content. _______________________________________________ Catalin Professional Streaming Consultant |
