Multibitrates from one source - Windows Media
I can only upload one bitrate - 300k to my Windows Media Server. Internet bandwidth does not upload multibitrates e.g. 300, 150. (450k required) Client needs low bandwidth streams as well.
Tried to setup a playlist in Media Services (lpp://local-publishing-point) and then set the limit to the bandwidth per stream but it does not work. It streams until I reduce the limit and then it does not work anymore. Don't know why this feature is in Media Services. Looked for software that can encode from a remote source (video & audio from http://...) and found Scenecast (http://www.sceneware.nl) It works ok but stops now and then. Very expensive software! Therefore I use a second server, pull the stream from Media Services server, encode and push it back. Anybody who knows another product, any suggestions or ideas? It will be highly appreciated. I also need to pull out an audio only version stream. |

Hello my recommendation will be BlinkoTV because the stream is very smooth and it has HD capabilites also. The broadcaster has a lot of options so you can select the bitrate, fps and video size or quality.

Hello
It doesn't because it s easier to broadcast without windows media server. It comes with the hosting plan included. |
