Sounds like you have a iphone4 case solid baseline to measure things against there then. May I ask your reasons for looking at other systems if you already have invested in iphone5 case MediaSite ?

I've been working mainly with Viewcast Niagara and Accordent Capture Station systems, however in a leather ipad 2 covers mobile/remote capture scenario rather than a classroom installation.

I have with a number of these systems is if you need to archive material for any period of time, you need to consider how you are going to migrate any existing content when the time comes to upgrade/replace the system. If you are working with proprietary systems than the chances are the two will be using two entirely different formats both for data and metadata with no easy migration path, possibly locking you into one vendor, who may not provide the features you need further down the line. This is generally not a problem if you are only keeping material for 6 months or so.

RE: Echo360 users
Hi Folks,

I know it's been a long time since anyone added anything to this forum but I had an Echo question and thought I would give this the ol' college try. I record a number of classes for my school, and recently we decided to test the live streaming feature of Echo360. The stream works great, but it is raising another headache: If a video download of the lecture is enabled, it is only downloading at a 15 FPS playback speed, whereas before I was getting 24 FPS download for QuickTime. I am recording at 720p, 59.94, and I notice in my product groups for live stream enabled that it says half frame rate, however I still have full frame rate listed for my downloads.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does the streaming frame rate override the listed download frame rate?

Thanks for your assistance.
Kevin
