http://www.wayonda.com is a newly launched video yellow pages advertising site that combines geographically targeted ads with engaging original video production. It's designed to provide businesses and private individuals the opportunity to use short professional videos to better display the quality and value of their products or services. It's also a customer focused forum where users can geographically search to find services that are near by and enjoy a video experience of what it is they're searching for. Content is kept current so display results are active, fresh and relevant.

Conceptually, it's an integration of some of the largest advertising sites with some of the largest video sites. Wayonda.com merges the video advertising experience with target audience search to display national, regional or local items of interest. It also has a pay per view feature which provides a distribution option for professional productions from filmmakers, musicians and others whos content is of commercial interest. Accounts contain plenty of linking opportunities and there is a social networking interface woven in.

Being a new site, Wayonda.com has a rough, edgy appeal to it that evokes an environment of experiment and creativity as well as a new venue for advertisers to gain exposure and build new marketing opportunities for their productions. As the video yellow pages advertising concept continues to evolve, sites like Wayonda.com will likely grow to provide a new experience of what advertising means and how customers and businesses interact.

Reply to this posting here.

Hello again,
First of all, thanks to everyone who submitted nominations for the Streaming
Media All-Stars -- it's going to be a great "team" of the 25 most important
people of the last 10 years, and look for it in the April/May issue of
Streaming Media magazine.

Second...we're putting together a timeline of important events in streaming
since 1998, and once again, we'd like your input. Between Dan Rayburn and
our contributing editors, we've got a pretty good sense of what the
milestones were and when they happened. But we want to make sure we don't
miss anything. We're looking for things like the first live webcast of a
major league sporting event, the first webcast of the Oscars...so if you've
got anything you think we should include in our timeline, please email me
offlist at .

Thanks,
Hi folks (and my apologies if you get this twice),

If you haven't heard...we're launching the inaugural Streaming Media
All-Star awards in the April/May issue of Streaming Media magazine,
which will also celebrate the 10th anniversary of StreamingMedia.com.
We're looking for nominees from you, the people of the streaming media
community, as to who you think deserves recognition for the work
they've done in the past ten years. We're not thinking about the big
names that already get all the recognition. We're looking for the
people like you who do the hard work, whether it's creating new
technology, implementing innovative applications, or creating
compelling online video content. Once we get all the nominations--the
cut-off date is February 11--the Streaming Media editorial staff will
select the top 25, and each will be profiled in the April/May issue.

Got someone you'd like to nominate? Click http://websurveyor.net/wsb.dll/11718/2008SMallstars.htm
to enter your nomination. Drop me a line or give me a call if you
have any questions. Looking forward to your input!

Best,
Eric

ok, this is a start...

two years ago I've registered an international Trademark named
SayPeace.com. ( global value/sharing messages/interactive) . I set up a
free webmail service for anyone who wanted and started to add services
such as photogallery and personal blog. it was good untill I found to
have too high monthly expenses and numbers weren't high enough to
interest sponsors. so i had to close the server (i had a dedicated one)
and today I am just keeping online a much smaller website waiting for
the right moment to re-launch the project.

having your own @saypeace.com email address was definetly a good point
for subscribers. but they wanted to interact as well.

two guesses for a new project... creating a simple website for sharing
30"-clip to "saypeace" your way... creating a website for email and
videomail.
>
>
>> Hi all,
>>
>> I was wondering if I can share an idea on this list and maybe develop
>> a
>> project where who is interested can put a little of his own and
>> receive
>> visibility.. and why not, maybe some incomes in the future (depends
>> on the
>> project!).
>>
>> Is it a proper way to use this list?
>>
>> Gathering all resources of this list should make it possible to
>> minimize
>> efforts and maximize results.
>>
>> Can I share the idea with you?
>>
>> Bye!

ok, this is a start...

two years ago I've registered an international Trademark named

>>
>>
>>
>> Gathering all resources of this list should make it possible to
Hey,

You want a great IDEA for the first project?

How about a "small user" GROUP that can purchase music rights and distribute the same to the members ... LEGALLY !

The big boys won't even talk to us guys who want to use a song in a montage and make 5 copies for the bride and family.

RIGHT....you all pay the correct fees ....RIGHT

Just one of a million
