Accordent, Tegrity, Mediasite, Wimba, Echo 360, and many other live classroom capture and delivery systems exist today.

What are the best? What are you using and why? Which ones offer the best solutions when looking at total cost of ownership? Are they easy to deploy, support, and use?

How are you deploying these solutions? Are you looking at a 3 - 5 year commitment to a chosen technology or are you faced with re-evaluating solution every 2 years? If so, how do you deal with replacement, re-training, infrastructure integration, etc.

Interested in hearing your thoughts here.
You may want to take a look at the Education forum, as there was some discussion along those lines not so long ago.

Unfortunately, once you start looking at several 'classrooms', most of these systems become prohibitively expensive, particularly as their use in the typical classroom tends not to generate any additional revenue.

I was just reading about this... some recent Echo360 implementations that went well -- Clemson: http://www.foxbusiness.com/story/markets...s-program/
and Purdue: http://campustechnology.com/articles/200...oints.aspx
I am not familiar with these live classroom capture and delivery systems. But I know how to make a video totorial and it is useful for e-learning.
